Missions System
In order to advance the plot and also improve your character, agents must complete missions in the group that match their rank or are lower. Succeeding in a mission will give you currency, earn the group Advantage Points to continue the story, and get you a step closer to the next rank.
Agents may only take missions aimed at their division, and they can’t be more difficult than the rank they’re on. They're also unable to take missions two or more ranks lower than their current rank. For example, a Rank C agent can do C and D ranked missions, but not A, B, or E ranked missions. Agents can only have one mission active at a time. If they already have a mission assigned that they haven't completed yet, they must finish it or withdraw it before taking another one.
The missions themselves may be or any kind, anywhere, depending on the needs of the Initiative at the moment. They're more complex and complicated the higher the rank is, but giving you more rewards for finishing them. In order to complete them, you may be asked to create artwork or to RP a situation, sometimes both. Some missions are meant to be done alone, while others are aimed at teams of agents. Each mission's objectives and completion conditions are stated in its description.
When you've decided which mission you wish to take, please use the channel #mission-requests in our official Discord to request the assignment. We'll verify all team members meet the criteria for the mission before confirming it.
